Propolis is a one of the most beloved ingredients in cosmetics. It contains rich flavonoids, multiple natural anti-bacterial micro-molecules (lipophilic acaricides) and relatively high composition of essential oils. Because of its therapeutic property, propolis is generally used as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and moisturizing ingredient in cosmetics.

CNP’s Propolis Energy Ampoule is the first propolis based product to gain current popularity. It was marketed as energizing and hydrating ampoule for sensitive, dry and acne-prone skin. Because of inherent anti-inflammatory property of propolis, it worked very well as it claims. In 2015, Skinfood also introduced light textured, highly concentrated propolis ampoule and quickly become popular as well. In Masksheets.com, CPP French Propolis 82 Ampoule are very popular (mainly because of our team’s rave recommendation), and let’s see why me and my team love this product so much. I mean, it’s in my package as well.

First Impression

As many other products from CPP line, it is made with 82% of propolis extract. Since they purified propolis and removed resins and other solids, it is transparent, gel textured solution. It is honestly more jelly than solution. As you can see from the video below, it has quite high viscosity. It spreads very nicely and quickly become watery on skin. One pumping is totally enough for entire face, otherwise it will be super sticky and hinder your makeup. So, always be careful, use adequate amount only.

Ingredient

CPP French Propolis 82 Ampoule contains high concentration of niacinamide (~4%), intensifying its brightening property. 1% of glycosaminoglycan repairs & hydrates your damaged skin. Globularia Cordifolia Callus medium and other commonly used moisturizers such as glycerin, allantoin and hyaluronic acids are added as well. Adenosine is used as anti-aging ingredient and 7 berry extracts are added for antioxidants. In terms of the ingredient, I am very satisfied except PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, seemingly used as penetration enhancer. But since it is a commonly used ingredient and the high contents of actives are just so tempting, so as long as you don’t have any problem with PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, Elensilia's CPP French Propolis 82 is a fabulous ampoule to add on your skincare routine.

After Thought

I have used this CPP French Propolis 82 Ampoule for more than 6 month and I have no intention to change my ampoule yet. (Time to time, I have to use new products for a week or two for test, though.) It hydrates my skin very well and leaves a good amount of moisture for whole day even under the heaters. Sometimes, I even forget my cream routine because this CPP French Propolis 82 Ampoule hydrates your skin very very well. But you should use only half amount of ampoule only, otherwise it will be STICKY. I personally like stickiness because I have dry skin. If you hate sticky texture, you probably won’t like this ampoule. It is also a extremely good remedy for dry but acne prone, easily breakout skin as well because of propolis’ inherent anti - inflammatory property.

PROS: Amazing hydration with highly concentrated active ingredients

CONS: Maybe too rich texture for oily skin

IDEAS: For easily breakout – dry skin
