Not Too Shabby!
As a first time user of this particular mask, I can't definitely stake a claim of the mask's strength, but I can say that this feels soothing, indeed.
At first glance, the packaging looks cute and thin. The tabs are easy to pull, and once the package is open, I get a whiff of something...hmm, not green tea. Something herbal-like. Perhaps it could be green tea, but not the kind I'm used to. The smell may be misleading to some, but to me, this isn't strong nor offputting, in fact, quite relaxing (I should also mention that I'm currently wearing the mask as I'm writing this).
I don't feel any burning or tingling sensation, so that is a good sign (lol, I'd hope so, anyway!). I have to warn you, readers, as I have for the other masks in this series, that this has a lot of serum leftover in the package. You could take the tip from the description box and use that to rub on your arms and neck, or try it my way: take two cotton rounds and clip them shut into the package. Leave some for tomorrow for a little refresher!
You know, at first I felt as though my face was being washed in cool water, and it still kind of feels like a menthol type of fresh, which wasn't what I was expecting. And the mask covers my face almost perfectly, for that matter! The size of it was cut well, which I'm happy to see because some other reviewers had complained about getting the short end of the stick with the manufacturer. My mask hasn't torn or anything, and it sticks to my face well (of course, I'm not with anybody to talk to), which is also comforting.
Alrighty, my time is up (the max of 20 mins). The mask feels as though it could go another round, and yet, sadly, I must throw it out. The serum feels like a thin layer of moisturizer on my face. It feels just as soothing (doubly so when listening to some cafe chillhop) as earlier, and no irritation at all. Of course, I cannot speak for those with sensitive skin, who I still recommend proceeding with caution (you can never be too careful!). Regardless, I enjoyed this mask. It's not my go-to (yet), but I do feel like I'd use this again in the near future. So, once again, any of those jumping into using masks, those looking for something cute and not too overpowering, or those who want to relax, this mask is worth its price and gives you some comfort while taking a break from the day. I hope this review helps, and have a nice day!
