I'm From Rice Toner

Look, I never expected to simp over any single toner like this, yet here I am writing a devout love letter to the 𝘐'𝘮 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘙𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘳.⁣

I've had my eye on this for a couple of years, but never felt like I wanted to go out of my way to get it. I heard a lot of people love this, but figured it's just as good as the hundreds of other hydrating toners out there. Masksheets.com let me pick out a couple of products to review, so I decided to finally try out this hyped up toner.⁣

I've heard that for centuries, women have used rice water on their skin for brightening and anti-aging benefits. (I've actually tried this a few times myself, but found it somewhat cumbersome, as I'm pretty lazy when it comes to DIY's, even the simple ones.)

This toner contains 77.78% rice extract from rice grown in Yeoju, South Korea, which is supposed to be very high quality. It has a water layer and emulsion layer that you can see when the liquid has settled, so you have to give it a little shake before using. ⁣

From the FIRST time I used this toner I knew this would be one of my favorite toners hands down. I'm not playin around here. I am a toner FIEND so I don't say this lightly. There are so many great ones out there that are deeply hydrating and soothing, but this one was unique in that it left my skin visibly plump and glowy within just one use. It's rather watery, and doesn't have much 'slip' to it, but it packs in a nice amount of hydration and moisture. I'd say it's about 40% moisturizing and 60% hydrating.

I can't speak on the long term brightening benefits yet, however I just know that when I use this, my skin just looks and feels amazing. Just from a toner! Witchcraft I tell ya.⁣
