Who else loves multitasking products? Decided to jump on the bandwagon and try this coveted new product from #Laneige, their Cream Skin Refiner! Here is my first impressions review on this #bluemonday.

Laneige Cream Skin Refiner product - M Review 115

You might have already heard the raving reviews and I myself first knew about it through @liahyoo who enthusiastically recommended it for all skin types, especially dry and/or dehydrated skin! It's a really innovative and multi-tasking toner+cream in one, with a super watery and lightweight consistency but packing the moisturizing effects of a cream at the same time. Talk about cool!

Its star ingredient is white tea leaf water extracted from green tea through a cold brewing method, which is said to contain 1.5 times the amount of amino acids compared to green tea. This helps more effectively moisturize and strengthen your skin barrier. It is also essential oils and fragrance free: although I personally prefer my skincare to be scented, I appreciate this feature as it's great for sensitive skin types.

As mentioned above, it's ultra watery and meant to be applied using your hands directly onto skin. As I pat it in, I can feel it produce a moisturizing, protective layer on my skin that's not too sticky or oily, but dries down giving a plump and supple effect that increases with the amount of layers I use

So while I wish the star ingredient was featured higher up on the list, it is still a great and convenient product that has delivered the promised effects of high moisture in a lightweight toner consistency. It definitely enables me to skip steps in the routine for my combo skin and I will definitely decant this to take with me on travels! I love that you don't need a bunch of layers to achieve nourished, supple skin which I can imagine is perfect for dehydrated and dry skin types, which is what this product is mainly catered to. Other skin types can also benefit from just one quick layer too. Have you tried it?
