Have sensitive skin? Eczema? Daycell Vitamin Sheet Masks got you covered - M Review 34

Comment /

Greetings, M-Friends! Fall is right around the corner! Or is it here already? Eh-hem, let me introduce myself first. My name is Rachel, and I’ll be seeing you guys quite often from now on. Guess what? I have eczema, sensitive, and dry skin, and I get dry patches very easily. It’s embarrassing, but here’s how my skin looks like without any makeup on. My skin’s been okay, but not so great. As you can see, I have some redness on my cheeks and eczema around my lip-area.

I know, it’s quite hard to keep my skin behave all the time. However, I hope to help out those of you with similar complexion as mine, and if you have hard time choosing any skincare products, or scared to even try anything new.

Daycell Vitamin Masks

I’ve been wanting to try Daycell’s Dr. Vita Vitamin Sheet Masks, which comes in 3 types: Vitamin A Intensive Wrinkle Care, Vitamin B Calming and Reparing, and Vitamin C Brightening. It’s a plus that these sheet masks are made of 100% tencel, which is eco-friendly. So a couple of days ago, I picked up the Vitamin B Calming and Repairing mask. Without further ado, let’s get straight into how the mask worked!

When you tear the package and take out the sheet mask, wait, oh, wow. The sheet mask was suuuuper thin. It’s probably the thinnest sheet mask I’ve ever seen. The sheet mask was drenched in generous amount of essence.

After I washed my face and applied my toner, I put on the sheet mask. It smelled very light and pleasant. I’m very picky when it comes to skincare products, because strong fragrance can easily irritate my skin or trigger eczema.

After 15 minutes, I checked the sheet mask, and it was still very very wet. So I ended up waiting extra 10 minutes, and removed it even though it was still not dry. I was very surprised that it did not dry for about 30 minutes, which is much longer than other sheet masks. After I removed the sheet mask, I gently tapped the excess essence on my skin.

Final thoughts

The mask did a great job on providing intensive moisture without any stickiness. Once in a while, I look for mask sheets that are thick and rich, but I normally stick to calming and moisturizing ones. This one is known to control sebum production, so I recommend this product for oily skin as well. When I found out that it contained a small amount of Triethanolamine, I was a little hesitant to try it, and worried if my skin would react to it negatively. Although this worked very well on my sensitive skin, not all of you would get the same result. So be aware of it.
